Data processing

Subprocessor disclosure for Skill Coach pilots.

Last updated June 17, 2026. Skill Coach is in private beta, so this page documents the current subprocessor disclosure, data processing agreement status, and operating posture before paid production rollout.

Current DPA status

Skill Coach does not currently offer a separate enterprise data processing agreement, also called a DPA, for private beta pilots. Pilot users should treat the product as a controlled evaluation workspace, not a place to store regulated records, customer repair histories, passwords, payment card numbers, or confidential shop documents that are not needed for training review.

If a production customer needs contractual data-processing terms, a signed DPA, a detailed subprocessor list, or customer-specific retention language, that request must be reviewed before production access is approved.

Service provider categories

Skill Coach may use a small set of subprocessors and service providers to operate the beta. The current categories are hosting, application monitoring, email or message delivery, analytics, payment readiness, backup storage, and AI infrastructure used to transform training prompts into coaching artifacts. These providers are used only as needed to run the service, protect reliability, review safety, process support requests, and prepare billing workflows.

Data minimization

Training examples should be rewritten or anonymized wherever possible. A useful Skill Coach submission usually contains the workflow being trained, the learner role, the expected behavior, and the proof standard. It should not include unnecessary customer names, VINs, payment information, employee discipline details, or private business records.

Access and retention

Private beta records are retained for pilot operation, support, audit, quality review, and abuse prevention. Operator access is limited to troubleshooting, readiness review, support, and product safety checks. Requests for access, correction, export, deletion review, consent withdrawal, or a subprocessor clarification can be sent to support@skillcoachhq.com.

Production review

Before Skill Coach moves from beta into broader paid production, this disclosure will be reviewed with the privacy policy, billing gates, backup policy, monitoring setup, support process, and security controls. Any material change to sub-processors or data-processing terms should be reflected here before launch.
